PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

There are countless adjectives to characterize “programs” that involve people committed to making a difference. You might want to launch a mentoring, youth development, out of school time, summer, tutorial, career development, or workforce development program. These programs have a myriad of goals and purposes.

For example, the program might be to increase students’ efficacy or confidence, improve students’ motivation towards learning, increase young girls’ interest in science and engineering, or provide guidance to students on avoiding risky behaviors. Or, the program might be to increase students’ self-esteem, improve students’ motivation towards learning, increase young girls’ interest in science and engineering, or provide guidance to students on avoiding risky behaviors. We work with our clients to develop programs that will have a significant life long impact on youth.

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT SUPPORT

Assessments allow ILC professionals to determine the specific learning preference of children and adolescents to increase academic success. This information is used to construct and execute a learning plan that will increase students’ academic success. We also use students’ responses to survey to understand the impact of a program on their a number of variables to include motivation, academic self-regulation, problem-solving abilities, and more.

Programs with young people should include measurement of cognitive and non-cognitive variables. Our services are offered to allow us to gain a thorough understanding of your students’ academic (cognitive and non-cognitive) strengths and opportunities for improvement. The information extracted from a battery of socio-emotional, academic, and behavioral tests is analyzed and used in the development of an individualized learning plan that will lead to future academic success.
